The formal living room, art deco delight that also pay’s homage to Goga’s Asiatic roots. Intricate
hand made lanterns hang from the ceiling, and the low sofas give a sense of overpowering space. The
décor is the work of master interior designer David Collins, whose stamp is on some of the capital’s
best bars and restaurants, from Nobu to Claridge’s.
Tamara Beckwith, Hello!
I looked at a whole array of designers but I knew very clearly what I was after and David Collins has a style I truly admire. I adore his use of leathers and his own bespoke style of furniture. I worked very closely with him but ultimately I would brief him and he would send through suggestions, photographs, drawings, auction items etc and I would simply say ‘Yay’ or ‘Nay’ to them.

I had to trust him implicitly, too – for example, I said I wanted a masculine office literally at the same time he mentioned it being lavender. I roared with laughter and said ‘No!’ He said to trust him and as a result, I now have a beautiful lavender office.
